So if the short videos from BBC and James Randi did not provide enough information about homeopathy, then perhaps a technical break down by Ars Technica will provide the rest of the answers you seek.

So, a few days ago someone showed me some medicine that was homeopathic as if that meant something important… I don’t know if the person was being sarcastic or not… or did not know what homeopathy is. Because of this and the fact that it is a major plot device in “Pushing Daisies” – I feel compelled to provide information on Homeopathy. So, here are two videos that explain it:
